Installation Guide

Step 1: Download the installer

1. Click the Install Now button on this page.
2. Depending on your security settings, you may see a warning about a potentially harmful file – please click Keep to proceed.

Step 2: Install Prima

1. Locate and double-click the downloaded PrimaCloud.application file. Most browsers display this file at the bottom of the screen; if not, check your Downloads folder.
2. Follow the installation wizard, selecting Install and then Run.
3. When the installation is complete, Prima will prompt you to enter your registration keys.

Step 3: Insert Registration Details

1. Copy your installation keys from the Customer Portal. If you don’t have access, please contact your Prima Coordinator or our Support Team.
2. After completing this step, close the Prima login screen.

Step 4: Log in

1. A Prima Cloud shortcut has been added to your desktop.
2. When you open Prima for the first time, click Run if prompted.
3. You will be greeted by the login screen. Once your user accounts have been created, you’ll be able to log in to Prima. On your first login, you may be prompted to update to the latest version.

Troubleshooting

Folder Permissions

If the Prima login box gives an error when trying to log in or update:

1. Go to your C:\ drive.
2. Locate and right-click the PrimaV6 folder.
3. Click Properties.
4. Go to the Security tab.
5. Click Edit…
6. Highlight your user.
7. Check the Allow box for Full Control.
8. Click OK.

Antivirus

If your antivirus blocks or quarantines the installer:

Allow the file when prompted, or restore it from your antivirus vault.
Add PrimaCloud.application to your trusted list.

Firewall

If the installer fails to connect or update:

Your firewall may be blocking outgoing connections.
Contact your IT administrator to whitelist Prima and allow full access.
